Is there anyone in Southern MO who has found bulk chestnut anthracite? I can only get Blaschak by the bag (which is great), and TSC coal in Hollister (which is a bit far, and the coal quality is hit or miss).

It would be nice to get a dumptruck load and a better price than bagged coal.

I thank you in advance!

Mac

I'm in SEMO, so I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. I can get bags at TSC, 20 miles away, and that's it.

FWIW....my sense of it is that unless you're within a limited distance of NEPA the cost delta between bagged and bulk will be small.

I agree, due to the cost of transporting it.

You've got to remember that You "Big Mo' " Coal Burners just may be a Resourceful Lot! There's not alot stopping You All from getting together, check and develop a possible Love Connection through pooled resources and connections found,to aquire a shared Tri-Ax Load of Lehigh... Remember,it's always NO! until You ask! Well, get Together and start asking!

Btw, I did find that Lowes would order nut coal for me, if I would take it by the pallet. So, I'll be pursuing that option. Same for TSC.

A MO coal main location would still mean driving 100-200 miles to pick it up. That would probably put the price right back at bagged prices.
