New posting to account and compare this years TSC ..
I Ordered 6 ton Rice with summer sale. Seems same summer deal TSC has had for a few years. I hope it's the same Coal and bagging as last seasons..great stuff. Used all 6 Tons up.
My local TSC had the flyers out stating Rice coal etc. was worried as someone here posted they won't be carrying it this year..

TSC nut for $6.26 40# bag@ and McClymond's Supply nut $8.25 50# bag@ for Lehigh. Suspect TSC price leftover but that is what cashier showed me.
What coal is in the TSC bag? Oil threads are a waste of time but as noted here coal naturally varies in quality so when something good comes along it's worth mentioning. Planning on using TSC coal but was just curious what it is.

They could have a different supplier this year but it was Reading the last couple years unless in a different, other than miners choice, bag. Fred is correct though, it is black!

At TSC last night and coal just delivered had product of Trevorton PA so presumably Reading is correct.

Just got my 1st quote here in CT, and the cashier said they were charging $314 a ton. Not sure what the bag price is, cause don't remember if they're 40 lbs or 50 lbs. I do know they increased a bit from previous seasons. With sale prices and coupons, they offered it as low as $250-$270 in years gone past. Isn't much of a benefit for me, when I can purchase Santa coal, and LeHigh for the same, or better. Wasn't real impressed with the TSC nut coal consistency of the past. Curious how it's mined and bagged this season.

Ive been waiting for a 10-15% off coupon for months and it has yet to show up. I usually get at least 2 chances every summer but no chance since spring this year. Its worth the sale price to me but not regular price.

I must say the no sale price is still attractive to me. I have found I have no finds, better bags and burn's good. I burnt Santa's for years.. it's just as good and in fact better due to bags and no fines. Ease of pick up being TSC is open every day until late.

I just got 2 tons from the Vermillion, S.D. store. The lady said they received 3 pallets. I was extremely relieved to find out they could still get it for me this year because last year there were reports from around Omaha that there wasn't going to be any coal in midwest TSC stores this year. Maybe it depends on the store manager. The lady in Vermillion is very helpful. I'm not as concerned about the price or getting a big discount on it. Out here we can't be as choosy as you fellas back east.

Well after burning TSC since October 1st 24/7 I must say it's amazing stuff. Better then Blazchak etc that I've burned in previous seasons. Better bags, water content, fines, debris and just burns so nice. No issues. And being in Northern NH a few miles from Canada I can tell you I burn a lot.

Good to hear captain. Did you ever determine where, or what mine TSC acquired their coal from this season?
