Summer of 2017 I paid 125 a ton pick-up price at Rossi Coal, this Summer they wanted 140 a ton picked up. When I questioned the owner why it was so high, (140) was their 2017 Winter price he really had no answer.

THERE IS NOT ONE COAL DEALER IN THIS STATE == I CAN GET A FAIR PRICE FOR COAL =--IF I ORDER 20 TONS FROM PENN. & PAY FOR SHIPPING [ TWICE THE COST OF THE COAL ] SO BE HAPPY U CAN GET COAL! P.S. I WAS -2f LAST SUNDAY NITE & IT'S ONLY THE MIDDLE OF NOV.

Good luck in staying warm. Where in NM is it -2F? Give your location in your profile. TSC is a national chain and I doubt if many of your neighbors opt for coal so there is no market. I like your thinking, shipping anth. to NM is a new one, however, you have other coal options. TRY NOT TO SHOUT.

I had a similar nproblem here in Atlanta. For some reason, they sold coal in Alabama but not Georgia. I made a big fuss with the corporate office and now I have a store 11 miles from me carry coal. I wish I had more options but at least I have coal.

I like reading when it’s written in cap letters. Much easier on the eyes, for us who is going blind 😀

Looking for rice coal near Mooers, NY. Dupreys feed in Chazy seems to be the cheapest at $275/ton but they are out right now.

Did you ask when they expect to have it back in stock? Might only be a few days.

Heat Wave Stoves in West Chazy should have bagged rice coal also.

there is no sales tax on coal, heating oil etc. in New York State.
4% here in St. Lawrence county. I normally got mine from the nearby Tractor Supply, but this year they didn't offer the pre order discount on coal, so I got 5 tons of Blaschak from a dealer in Jefferson county for $285/ton delivered and no sales tax. I would haul 1 ton at a time myself from TSC and unload it. This year I was working and hired a couple local kids to help. TSC price here is $6.29/bag last time I checked, up from $5.99 last season.

Hay, I was there this afternoon! I picked up 15 bags of Pea, $5.75 per bag. It's really just for some weight in the back of the truck for snow season.

Good thing you aren't waiting for delivery. They are backed up Six Weeks!
