Paid $145/ton for large rice from Gale Mining Co.+ $300 to Everdale Trucking + $25 to hobby farmer for a tractor to power the PTO driven auger. Total of $2140.40 for 12.52 tons = $170.96/ton. This load all fit in my bin,i still have leftover from past loads on the ground outside which i use as weather permits. Enough coal on my property to go till next fall.

Next time, I think that would be my blend of choice. I started running buck on my AK 180 and the results were very positive (over rice). Spring interrupted the experiment which will now continue when the chit really hits the fan.

Upstate NY near the Canadian Border... An Amish friend of mine is selling it to me fro $260 a ton plus 2% NYS Sales Tax (50 Bags of Rice). About the best price I have found around here. Another dealer/installer sells 1.2 ton for about 360-375 depending on the time of year.

Just picked up at the Reading Anthracite Summit packaging plant, $225 a skid of rice, in and out of there in 10 minutes. Bags are nice and clean, not sloppy wet

I believe that depends on the county. If I recall correct, it's 3% for me.

They may not collect sales tax on out of state sales, regardless of the exact destination.
