I paid $235 a ton from Herman’s Landscaping out of New Egypt NJ. Very fair pricing for central NJ. They also carry bags, I believe it’s Centralia coal (that’s what it says on the bags)

I paid $200 per ton + a flat delivery charge of $96 from Cerwensville Feed store near Clearfield. It's Blaschak and has been very consistent in quality over the years.

$180 / ton at Reeses for Blaschak bulk rice coal. Picked up 5.5 ton today. Nice and clean, was a little frosty and iced up by the time we got it home.

Its all tucked away in the pole barn...137,500,000 btu's standing by!

180 a ton picked up at Hazelton shaft and honestly never seen nicer coal. Nut and buck. 180 a ton at superior for buck and will never ever go back. Coal is so soft and dirty just putting it in my bin it was looking like dirty rice then burning it was a complete failure so burning it in a sf 250 to get rid of it, lesson learned the hard way. Seems coal quality at superior has been more miss then hit and getting poorer

i fired superior like 8 yrs ago because their coal quality was inconsistent.

Well the hauler was specifically told NOT to go there but it was closer and easier for him but now I have to torment myself with it. Needless to say he won’t be hauling it or superior won’t be selling me coal close or not. I will drive the hour one way for good quality coal.

Any ideas what the cost will be in SE CT? I am hoping to finally be in good enough shape to burn coal 2018/2019 winter. I might have a bunch of relights but will hope for help filling the buckets with a week supply at a time.

Should be summer sales comin up everywhere. DD, I borrow a young Amish neighbor to fill 14 5 gal. pails every couple weeks--I work their green horses during the warmer months--good luck huntin somebody for the fillin chores. Glad you're feelin better--been there, done that.

Lehigh is down to $155/ton from $160? Anyhow the lady said it may come down some more in June. But I needed coal last week.
