I got a sale pre order flyer like previous summers about the pre-order discounts etc. No mention of Coal. At the store they clerk had a sheet at the register stating the Coal pricing. So we ordered 6 Ton. At the same price as last year. Same rules. Called it a lay way. Has to be picked up by October 1st once it comes in. He said 3 weeks or a month but last year it was in September.

Talked to our local TSC manager and was told that coal will be on sale after the wood pellet and other wood products sale ends. I purchased all the rice coal they had for $5 bag.

Thanks for the heads up on the sale. I have been wondering what they would do.

No, I actually went around with this with them. They don't want to even hear about it.

Stopped at local TSC on Monday to order coal. No can do, not in season yet. I left my name and number with them.

Checked in again, they still aren't placing orders for coal. I noticed stoves were moved to the front of the store.

I just finished picking up and unloading at my house the 6 ton's I bought from TSC. Love the bags they are still using from last year. Have handles and are water proof. Coal is burning nice as usual.. I'm all set plus some for this coming winter.

It's an expression of mine.. don't know where it came from. I meant I have enough coal and probably more then needed really.. hard to figure what actual usage I will need so we bought plenty. Will have enough and some left over like last year judging on what we've used over the last 12 yrs here .

Gotcha C. That's the way I do it. Good phrase, I think I'll use it too. :)
