Bought a ton of TSC coal,,,, Really tell a difference from what I have been burning ( never really could get a answer to what brand he was selling me ) What I have been burning was from Kurtz coal. Can anyone tell me what brand coal TSC is selling ? It's in the white plastic bags and the rice coal I bought is not soaking wet from the bag. Really throwing the HEAT also, the best coal I've had for making heat. What brand is it and what mine did it come from?

I had gotten 20 bags of it to see and was very happy with how it burned, length of burn and NO KLINKERS! This seemed to be much better for our TLC2000 than the previous years batch from TSC.

Theo, its mostly Reading coal in those generic bags, but theres even rumors its imported. It seems like the rice has been good for most burners, and the nut is hit and miss. especially with fines.

And what amazed me was that it was not real wet in the bags, last brand I had got from TSC was in the kimmels bags and was really wet.

Last fall I took a couple of bags of the nut coal to a hunting camp. We used it in the kitchen stove and it was great. We still have a bag or so left over. You really need to experience cooking on a kitchen coal stove. This is an old Prizer kitchen coal stove, it heats most of the cabin area.
