I'm new here...hate to ask questions without first reading a lot of threads where I could probably find the information, but I'm working on a house at the time and just don't have time to do a lot of reading.

I can buy Anthracite at TSC, but I think their pricing is too high for bagged coal. I figure buying in bulk is the way to go for best pricing as well as finding good coal.

Does anyone know if anthracite can be bought near Dayton, Ohio, or off the river in Cinci.? I'm also not opposed to hauling my own from PA if it works out to be the best option.

Thanks!

Make them a offer the Chillicothe and Circleville stores both have pallets of hard coal that sit there and don't seem to sell. Don't overlook soft coal, if your setup can burn bituminous (soft) coal you can get it way cheaper in bulk. Bramhi in Wellston OH sells lump and stoker size.

:EDIT: I forgot about Oxford reclamation outside Newlexington OH
