Possible Lehigh Anthracite supplier in Massachusetts.

Robins Garden Center in Oxford, MA is considering being the first MA to carry Lehigh Anthracite in a very long time. (Nut Size)

Back in the late 70's and early 80's The Chubby Stove Co sold Lehigh Coal to the tune of about 24 tons a week. It is some GREAT coal and frankly it is time this coal was available in Massachusetts. :D

The garden center owner says if the people ask the people will receive. If she said if she gets enough calls she will bring it in. This is within a pick-up truck ride for most on the north and south shore who want a high quality anthracite coal this season. It is worth the ride and the price. Low ash high BTU coal. It is really better.

If you live in MA and would like to burn Lehigh the contact info is below:

At this time, we do not. Where are you currently buying your coal?

I just bought 2 ton from a local Tractor Supply. I have also been buying from
Mt. Tully Kennels locally. He doesn't stock it but will special order Kimmels
for me. I used to get it from my in town Agway but they have closed.

I can give it a try.Your contact info? Would it be feasible for only 1 or 2 ton? I know they have couple other customers who burn nut coal, I burn rice. They don't have seem to have a problem to call their vendor.

If you live in Northern CT or Springfield, MA area, BTE Enterprises in Suffield CT has both Blaschak and Lehigh Valley coal. Last winter was their first season selling Lehigh Valley coal. I used it over the winter and liked it better than Blaschak.
