Wow that's a good price. My price is $235 per ton delivered but I only get 4-6 tons at a time, and I'm not really sure where it's from lol

Just picked up a ton/bulk Blaschak for $210, used my own feed bags it's $220/ton if you buy his, they bag it for you or will load unbagged at Delagrange Coal in Pa. near the Ohio/Pa line off of Rt.6. Great guy to deal with & I think a great price when considering the distance from source. :)

$135 a ton for rice coal from Lehigh Anthracite plus $24 per ton delivery fee to Poughkeepsie, NY area for a triaxle load of 22.56 tons of rice coal. Excellent coal, excellent people to deal with all around.

So all in that was $159 per ton for rice coal.

This was about two weeks ago.

I have been given the task of going thru my mothers items from her estate. While looking at a box of various things she had kept, I ran across and old diary from 1924. From the discussion and writings it appears to be from central Indiana. Anyway the writer made mention of a delivery of " a ton of coke for$10 ". I did notice that they received another load about a month later.
Interesting reading. Never did find out if Papa ever recovered from his illness. LOL!
