Jeddo #8 is right over the town line, in Ebervale. I picked up 5.25 tons there and it was outstanding.

Jeff asked this question almost exactly a year ago but I'll try to see if I can get some more input. I live just north of Hazleton. I knew of Jeddo and knew it has good reputation. I assumed anyone I called to deliver in Hazleton would be getting coal from there. The guy I just scheduled to deliver coal on Monday said he gets it from "Hazleton Shaft". This was the first I even heard of it.

So I guess my question is, does anyone have any experience with Hazleton Shaft vs Jeddo coal? Any quality differences? Thanks in advance.

Would it be safe to assume that because these coal companies are within a couple miles of one another that they quality would be very similar? Or does the mining process itself make a huge difference in quality? Please excuse my ignorance lol
