The Vernon Manager knew there was no tax so that was a welcome surprise. When he rang it up he noted an amount less than I was anticipation (also have a couple bags of peanuts) and I was puzzled and he said he gave 5% off. Be as the weeks go on (and if they have some) they may pull the price down just because you're a member of the NEPA Club.

OK, swung by today, they are there but not open yet. I went in and picked up the "Blue Book" and looked around. A lady came over and we had a chat, said I was there to see about coal. She said she is already looking into it because she burns it. :)

Well, it's open. They had a pallet of Kimmels nut in the foyer when you walk in. $5.99 a sack.

Did Kimmel's change to 40 pounders, or are they still 50?

$299.50 a ton (if they're 40's) is about the going rate around here, except for a couple places that rape you on every product they sell ...

I am amazed how many TSC stores are popping up around the country. Seems like every other day there's a sign for a new one. Which is surprising to me because IMO they don't have really good prices on things. Selection is poor and the shelves are usually half empty. Seems like almost everything I can find cheaper at another box store or a feed and seed. I do buy coal there. That's the one thing I do save money on there.

Odd, it's the exact opposite here and they price match so I get the same pricing anyway and it's closer. I like it because our store has outstanding customer service.

They sell their own brand of dog food (4health) which is inexpensive and rated very highly by the Mastiff community. It costs about a dollar per pound.
