scalabro wrote:$312.16 per ton of Blaschak....ho hum... delivered into my garage. Purchased from Mt Tom Energy/McKenny Electric in western Massachusetts.
Sadly, no bagged Lehigh is locally available
Too bad, as I'd pay $375 a ton for it too just to see if it's really all its supposed to be.
Well, ya tried to get their coal up this way.
I'm still waiting to see the $$$ of oil , which maybe cheaper this season (believe it or not).

Well I called Lehigh today to get a price on a triaxle load delivered. Those people couldn't have been nicer. A woman took my info and said someone would call back with price. A gentleman by the name of Larry called back about 1/2 hour with price. I couldn't believe it 150/ ton plus 34/ ton trucking. I think 184/ ton delivered is a damn good price. I should have enough now for at least 10 years. Just for $hits and giggles I called Hildenbrand who is selling ton of bagged for 315 to get price on bulk reading 260/ ton if I pick up. I sure hope the Lehigh is as good as I heard it was. I think I got a good deal, to be delivered Friday . Ill let you know how that works out.

Logs, that is about the price I paid. The coal is first class and I only wish it would last me 10 years.

Well I got my triaxle load of Lehigh today. The pile is much bigger than expected. About twice the
Size of aload of limestone.my plan is to build a fence of heavy timbers on two sides , push the pile against it , then tarp it. I may sell a few tons if there is an interest

Picked up my first ton of bulk Blaschak a few days ago & took it to the basement, once I make more room I'll split the next load between the basement & garage. $225/ton since I supply my bags, not a bad price for as far away as I am IMO.

As far as I know they are still at $220/ton if you get 4 tons, thought it might even include 3 ton but I am not sure as I forgot to write that down.Jono bought Fittery & Habecker Coal so less options of who to buy from, but they will have Blashack, Reading,Superior to choose from. We have been getting the Reading from F&H & will continue to get Reading.

Yeah I went with Jono, as I usually do, when I realized the 269 was for one ton only. I go with the Blaschack since I'm from around Mahanoy. Didn't know they bought out Fittery & Habecker!

I picked up 2 tons of stove from Calvin Lenigs outside of Trevorton for 150 a ton. The size was bigger than I ever got from them. It's awesome
