Seems to be - did not have any dust at all last year when emptying bags in coal bucket.

It finally made it to the midwest. I looked at their website and it said "in stock" at all the stores in my area, so I stopped in Norfolk, Ne on my way by Tuesday and there was a pallet of nut and one of rice in the front of the store. $6/bag, $275/pallet, just like you have out east! I had no way to carry it that day, but it finally looks like I'll have a reasonably good source to feed my old Wehrle. I was lucky enough to find a Locke 120 in nearly perfect condition a few weeks ago, so now I have 2 good stoves to use the coal.

I was in the TSC in Blairstown, NJ yesterday, they had a pallet of Lehigh nut out on the sales floor. 40 lb. bags. Of course I forgot the price because I didn't write it down.

I have some bags of Reading rice coal left from last year that I have been burning.I got better burn times from the Reading than I did from the Kimmels I bought last year. With the Miner's Choice,I got better burn times than the Reading.I've burned about 8 bags of the Miner's Choice. The Miner's Choice produces the same grayish ash as the Reading.I'll give the Kimmels a shot and see how it is.

My Tractor Supply store came through this yr. Bagged Anthracite coal. 40lb bag I believe is 5.99 with a 5% discount. It's Kimmel, so far I'm happy with it.

I live in Parkersburg WV 26101

Tractor Supply in Skowhegan ME has Kimmel rice for $5.49 a 40 pound bag. They lowered the price cause no one is buying rice. Nut was still $5.99 per bag.

...and I bet next month another .50 off, my store has a parking lot full of coal because the price of heating oil is lower than in the past. Look for a good deal at the end of the season.

That seems to vary from store to store. In my local store they give 5% off on pallets of anything bought, but others dont. You'd have to ask them.

I picked up a ton of Kimmels close to the house this year and I am happy to say how well it has burned this year compared to the stuff that wood stoves unlimited sold me . It seems that Kimmels has really strived to keep the TS customers happy with their product .

20 mins from the house sure beats the 4 + hour round trip and gas cost to NOVA . I am very happy with this product this year and hope they continue to sell it .

And I have Logs "David" to thanks for helping a coal brother out and making the purchase possible this year .
