Just north of Albany NY is pricing listed. My question are users experiencing that much of a difference in stokers to justify the price difference?

I'd say that's a pretty good price for bagged Blacshak. I live in NEPA and used to pay $300.00 for a ton and $359.00 for a pallet (60- 40# bags) I only live about a hour from anthracite coal country. I have been getting bulk Blaschak delivered this year for $234.00 a ton, have not had a problem for the past 3 years with size or quality of rice coal.

That's about what you would pay for bagged here.

That's a great price for that area. The per-ton delivery charge knocks some of the edge off though.

You said Greenwich, do they have a place there too ? Their webpage lists their address as Greenfield Center, NY - which is in the eastern Adirondacks, about 20 minutes NE of Saratoga Springs.

Greenwich NY is east of the Hudson River, about a half hour east of Saratoga Springs.

We also have a house in Saratoga Springs, so I've been through both those towns many times.

Great price. Dealer I use is still $315.00/ton. Bagged Blaschak. I pick up. He said the coal company isn't likely to go up on price. He might come down $5.00/ton but that will probably be it. He's worried about processing/trucking cost. Oil, hence diesel keeps going up. On a side note heating oil is down 25 cents from the last time I checked. $3.499/gal. Matt

Sorry Greenfield Center is the correct address sorry for the confusion.

Oil here is still $3.70 a gallon and that is from one of the discount guys.

I bought 4 ton of Reading Rice bagged at $259 a ton @ Mulhollands in Greenfield center Ny. (I pick up) (I live in Greenwich) This is the best price I have ever gotten in this area! Last year I bought 5 ton of Blackshak at 269 a ton.

That's a great price! I paid $310 for bagged Blasck in Jefferson, MD and I picked it up. I'd be jumping for joy at $250/279. Lisa
