It's early but .......

Was wondering if anyone wants to get together on a mega size bagged coal purchase.

I'm thinking if we can move two or three TT loads we can save a sizable amount of coin.

Lots of logistics to work out but I have three acres and am willing to store the load in Southwick for pick up if this works.

Any interest?

Scott is very centrally located just west of I-91 in the Springfield MA area. Understand guys, the TT delivery trucks have rubber tires and can go anywhere that an 80ft, 80,000 lb rig is safe to go.

The unloading and storage at one spot is fine in planning, but moving 10 tons to your home won't be cheap. You still need a good sized tractor, skid steer, or rough terrain fork truck.

Gekko is very generous to offer his property, however there won't be much of a price break for 100 tons.......maybe 500 tons, but fuel is a constant, insurance, wear and tear on machinery..........then the headaches begin.
The biggest issue is PEOPLE......promises are harder to keep than anyone imagines, and funding has to be an up-front deal. ....not trying to stick you in the eye with a sharp stake, but in 48 years of doing TT in bulk and bags, it is pretty damned hard to beat the folks who specialize in it from PA.

Perhaps you are waaaaaaaaaaay smarter than the average biped, but my advise is to keep it small, personal and limit your exposure. Take care of yourself and DO NOT count on 'friends'.
They get divorced, DWI=ed, and any number of stupid acts.......that could affect where the funds to pay the are coming from.

If you are a trusting Christian, turn the other cheek kinda guy', go for it. Otherwise, take care of you and yours; sleep soundly; and wake refreshed. :!:  :!: :!:
