How do supplies generally run in spring/early summer? Do they have bulk and bagged on hand or do you have to order for summer delivery?
Just like any other fuel, a harsher winter with people burning more than they had in a few previous years causing their on hand supplies to run out and making a run on local suppliers. Pellet users are having the same issues. Propain users were having supply issues a few weeks back, don't know if that is still going on. Some even mentioned NG users saw issues as main supply line sizing wasn't up to demand.kennydinmich wrote:Since I just started burning coal about a month ago ( Love the Chubby!) This years usage should give a good baseline for people to plan for in the future. If you used 5 ton this year then plan to get at least that amount through the summer if you have storage room. If you don't have the storage room, then restock to that amount earlier in the season before the run on local suppliers happens.
