Dale is a Blaschak dealer and only carries it bagged. Nut and pea is what he stocks. I have been burning his stuff exclusively. It is an outstanding product, l'm on my third 2400# pallet and zero complaints. He should have his delivery by now, it was late the last time I was there about a month ago.

I placed an order with Dale and he delivered. He did not bring a pallet jack with him so I ended up having to move 2.4 tons of coal into my garage where I store it.

Next time BT ent. as they bring a pallet jack and therefore can bring it into the garage, saving me the need to de&repalletize. And they cost equal (Dale a whopping 2 bucks more ~ he charged $60 for the delivery v. $40)

Well Dale called me after reading the prior post.

He said that IF I would have asked, he would have moved the 2 tons or so into the garage. eh. He knew where I wanted it to go and did not offer to move it at the actual time of delivery but I did not ask either. What does this mean? I'll leave it up to the reader.

I suggested that he make a post in the thread if he desired but also noted that everything I posted was true.

He indicated that he did not want me as a customer anymore; as a result of the prior posting I assume.

Not sure I get this. Doesn't he deliver coal with his forklift? I would think he could put a pallet anywhere you wanted.

Any handle on current pricing to SE CT Mystic?
Are these quotes for long or short tons?

Coal is typically a short ton, 2,000#. I have never seen it in long tons.

Called the Branford # and not in service.. oh well another one bites the dust. Mis dialed or followed a wrong link quite alive and well quoted 312 a ton but comes out to 375 for a pallet so buying a long ton and selling a short ton I am guessing. Delivery is 75 to Mystic from Branford.

I talked to Dale 2 days ago on that number, it's good.

The pallets are 1.2 ton, 2400#. 60 40# bags to a pallet. That is the reason for the two different prices.

I just got 6 tons of Blashak bagged rice delivered from BT Enterprises for $1860 to Waterford ($310/ton delivered). Now I have to find a way to move the 5 skids off my driveway and into the back yard. Anyone have a Moffet truck? :)
