I doubt it. With that much inert material in the coal, there is simply less room for carbon. He also mentioned reducing the feed rate on the stoker once he switched to the different coal.

I'm guessing he's going to use less coal with the new stuff. Too bad he has to use all the old stuff for the rest of the winter :(

Still haven't added coal to hopper or empty ash tub.Definitely seeing allot better heat, this would explain why I'm burning 11 ton a yr.

We have a 2800 sq. ft. bi-level home-vents cut in floors
This morning's temp.-80 at stove location-73-in living area upstairs-Farthest end of house upstairs-65degrees

This mornings temp. was 15 degrees. The real challenge is coming this Friday when below zero temps. on top of wind chills are predicted. My house sits on top of a hill with no wind break from the north west. The Jeddo anthracite is going to get a workout!

Looks like Jeddo is burning excellent for you... I back to full ash tub in 12 hours, missing the good coal already.

Forgot to add the ash pail. The coal is burning to mostly a powder with no clinkers.

I was just told by numerous people that kasey and kassa coal is not worth the money,so I went somewhere else and bought a couple 100 lbs worth to find out,they were right,i wont be shopping there anymore.
