I'm down to about my last ton of the old UAE Harmony coal. Going to miss that ultra-low ash content once it's all gone!

That's a good one, "Classic". :)

Kind of like Classic Coke or something. The original formula. 8-)

I've been burning the Home Sales coal. Home Sales is the new name they have painted across the front of the coal sheds. It burns good with white ash, no clumping, no clinkers. The "classic" UAE had a high carbon and higher than other area coal iron content. That was why it had red ash and tended to clinker when burned HOT. The new coal doesn't burn quite as hot as the old deep shaft UAE coal but I still notice a difference when their rice hits the grate. Stove seems to burn a little brighter and a tad bit hotter. Not much, just enough to notice. It's good coal and I'll buy it again.

I have about a ton left..... but it is at the bottom of the pile! Maybe I'll save the best for last, or maybe I'll like the new stuff even better!

Oh, I still have your Priority Mail box loaded with some of that stuff - THANKS AGAIN btw. 8-)

I'll have to try it out and note the difference from Blaschak, once I get the controls dialed in. Rob R. just sold me an aquastat I need to hook up and run first. :)
