They have a processing plant that utilizes a heavy media cleaning system which is directly north of their scale house. You can't see it unless you drive up the "snake road" which runs from 7th street in Mt Carmel over the mountain and connects on to 61 just north of Ashland. The access road to the breaker is off the highway about a mile east of Mt Carmel on the highway to Wilburton and Aristes. They also have a scale there and will sell retail. Mallard trucks this processed coal down the hill into and thru Mt. Carmel to their retail scale house at the old UAE mine. The breaker on the mountain to the south of the scale which was at the faced of the mine is not in operation. Their coal burns well for me in my EFM but it is dirty when it dries out.

I am interested in the flying dust from mallard coal. Did it come wet or dry? Did anyone get their winter supply from mallard recently ,if so how much dust was on it ? Thanks.
