I saw some talk about China and excess inventory etc. Does anyone have any info on what to expect this coming season for prices?

Last year I fell into the average range of $210 Blaschak pea delivered from Tamaqua to Allentown. Outstanding product, very low ash. I've been using it for at least 20 years with zero problems.

Thanks

I just paid $244.20/ton for 5 tons of bulk Blaschak pea. That price includes both Ohio/Local sales taxes (yes, the full gamut of sales taxes are applied to coal in Ohio) and delivery to my door.

That's down about $39 per ton vs. the 5 tons of Harmony I had delivered last year. It's also less than I paid for 5 tons of Blaschak two years ago. It's a bit more than I paid for a couple tons of delivered Stockton two years ago though.
