Hello All,

I've had best luck with Blaschak from Fieg Brothers in Berlin, PA, which is about 25 miles away from me. I tried two other sources in the area with MUCH less success. Fieg is the only local vendor that I've found that will actually say where their coal comes from.

Does anyone know any other sources for rice in the SW PA area? I'd like to try some UAE, but I can only take 8-10 tons max if my bin is empty. The breaker plant is too far to drive myself as I can only handle 2 tons at a time.

TIA

Dave

Thanks, Gents.

Bob, do you happen to know where Lincoln gets their coal?

xaos,

I had much better luck with the Blaschak from Fieg that what I bought at Zubek. Maybe I just happened on a not so good load, but....

Last spring, when I filled my bin, Blaschak rice at Fieg was #$210, Zubek was getting $200. I haven't checked this year.

Thanks!

Fieg has been known to load on weekend, if you can catch him in there. I think that they are in and out, loading for deliveries. Maybe ask?

Red Goose said $215 for the Blaschak. Not bad, apx 12 more miles for me vs Berlin.

Lincoln said they were hit with a $10 fuel surcharge per ton last load, what he has is now $240. He said it comes from Hazleton is all I could get out of him.
