They advertise on Craig's list and are located in Ceredo WV. I called them and they give me a price of $125 a ton for anthracite rice delivered and will only sell a semi dump full . I am 300 miles away, in northern Ohio. This is by far the cheapest I have found. If anybody has dealt with or used their coal let me know.

You wouldn't get it for that price if you lived here in NEPA.

Call or reply back to them and ask who supplys their coal.Thats sounds like a good deal,BUT it's really low price for anthracite coal far away from NEPA.Beware and ask questions before buying a large load or test the quality first.

If it's close by,get a few hundred lbs. and test it out before buying a large amount. It might work it might not. Carter Resourses stated they have a huge amount that needs to be moved, just make sure it's 100% anthracite.

yes, I tried to meet Carter Resources to buy coal. The location on the SGS coal analysis is an apartment complex not an office and no one there knew Carter Resources . The one coal company I talk to that knew the owner had nothing positive to say, given Carter the benefit of the doubt I went to meet the owner anyways. It was the most bizarre an troubling meeting I have ever had and I saw no evidence of coal or mines.

Their website is woefully lacking in info.
http://carterresourceswv.com/

I did find this claiming they sell coal and have low quality "steam coal" ready for sale.
http://www.tradekey.com/company/Carter-Resources-7145785.html

Can't find any type of physical business address for them, or a phone number, just a P.O. Box.

No business address, or phone number, would make me very apprehensive.

This all reminds me of the old saying,
"If it seems too good to be true, then it likely isn't true."
