Blaschak Coal Worth the Cost

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Blaschak Coal. As a relatively new coal user, I used a variety of coal for the first two winters (bulk & bagged) with varying results (ash content, burn rate etc..). Just started my second season on Blaschak and am fully sold on the quality of this coal. Up to half the ash of some other brands and burn rate is Definitely lower. I realize they're at the high end of the price scale (217.00 delivered), but worth the cost IMHO.

I've burned Blaschak coal for three years now, and I've never had any problems with it. Have 24,000# of it (10 - 2400# skids) stockpiled for a cold, snowy day!! (many cold, snowy days for that matter!!) :D

I burned Kimmels before - was the first coal I ever burned. Thought it was great (of course), until I tried Blaschak. Was night/day difference for me. Less ash, longer burn, cheaper, & less trash in the bags. Was a win-win for me & I haven't looked back since.

To Blaschak is a good all around heating coal. I think they blend their coal for a consistent product. It's not the very best, but it's a good solid performer.
