Does anybody know where the best coal prices would be near Easton PA?? I have a small trailer and like to pick up my coal if I can. My trailer holds a ton or less so driving up to Scranton does not make sense.
Thanks
Mike

Thanks guys. I'll be in touch. I've been to Kresge when I had my dump trailer. no doubt decent prices and service. easy on and off of rt 33. I was in once after an ice storm made for a really interesting time especially after I was loaded with 3 tons.
I use to go to the breakers up by scranton but the one I used closed down. now with a smaller trailer and the price of gas I need to stay close to home.
I did not see a section to introduce myself but I was born in Kingston, my grandfather was a coal miner and lived in Wyoming. He was missing parts of 2 fingers from the mines. Their house had a shower in the basement and an outside entrance my grandmother said he was so black with coal after work that she would not allow him in the house unless he went down in the basement and showered first. He was a good hard working man and died of black lung before he was 55. He was my best friend.
Hopefully we will start burning more coal and keep the miners working and help the local economy. My Keystoker is running as we speak. the house is nice and warm.
I love my Keystoker
Thank you again
Mike

Just an update. I've been Getting my coal at Kresge coal now since 2012. Good prices service and really friendly people. Easy on/off of rt 33. The place is literally next to the RT 33 overpass. Going in a few years ago was interesting with a icy slight at the entrance in. Only real complaint and its just a coal thing is the coal dust when I fill the hopper on my stove. Coal burns well no real issues with ash. They have a coal stove going in the office so on these cold days it really helps. They take checks! I'll be stopping in today for a ton.
