"Where natural gas is available the current price is cheaper than coal without the work involved. If the area you are considering has gas available that is not good"

Natural gas is not cheaper than coal.

According to the fuel price calculator, I pay $15.36 per million BTU's coal(40lb bags), and $20 per million BTU of natural gas heat. That doesnt take into account the cost to run the blower on my furnace.
My distributor is right down the street in Suffield, CT so I might spend 5 bucks in gas for the whole season of coal.

I paid $295 per ton bagged nut coat, Blashak. A grand total of 15 minutes of work to unload all the bags into the basement, ready to go.

$1.6 per therm natural gas. Its decieving the cost of nat gas. You gotta divide your total bill by total CCF or therms to get to the actual cost.
Gas is cheap, but your supplier throws in other service charges and what not.

There is a full pallet of Blaschak rice and a second pallet missing about 10 bags available in Guilford. It has been sitting on a pallets, covered for 10 years. The pallet is toast $200 for the full pallet, the partial would be prorated based on the exact count. The guy that is selling it doesn't have a computer and is ill. (not covid) He asked I make the arrangements on his behalf but he is who would be paid, not me.
