Getting delivery this week paying $291 a ton. Paid about $10 less last month so it is creeping up. That includes delivery/tax/service contract. I live like 10 blocks from the delivery company in Northampton County PA.

For where you live, that is too much. How close are you to rt 80?

If my stove stops running in the middle of the night someone will come and take a look at it and try to fix it. I also get cleaning at the end of season.

That's right. Last exit in PA on 78 before you get to NJ.

during the last week of December 2011, I paid $165 for a 1/2 ton Anthracite Blachak nut coal in 40 poiund bags, which I picked up. The supplier loaded it onto my pickup truck in Falmouth, Maine.

I just picked up from Hendricks in Hilltown Pa. 230 a ton up 30 from last year, and 265 delivered. They are trying to keep all there customers stocked up and want you to take only what you need for this winter and ask that you do not hord coal so everyone can be warm. They pile is getting small in the yard. I am only getting 2 tons at a time this winter. I have used them for 2 years now. They are nice and very easy to deal with. :D
