We saw Henry Thursday..I'm so glad you mentioned him. Thank you..as he is such a intelligent and pleasant guy to do business with. Reasonable prices and Very helpful and accommodating. I can't say enough.I will be dealing with him all the time if I can.
I wish him and his wife the best.
Known him since the 70's, he's TOO honest at times...
Last year this guy came over and kept buying like 1 or 2 bags at a time.
Henry asked him why, and he told him that was all he could afford.
He gave him a bunch of coal, and told him to just make one trip back
when he had enough to pay him....

One guy called and wanted bulk coal. A Maine dealer was gouging him, so he checked
with Henry... We made a chute, and then went over with 3 tons, in bags, cut them open
and chuted them into his bin. Took the bags back, and the guy saved money...
Customer for life, hopefully!

Glad you went over... Dan

Henry looked happy. The greedy pricks in life are usually miserable and have unhappy family's.

Kimmel for $265 a ton at TAS in Cobleskill. Skids of 1.25 tons for $331. There is a $40 delivery fee for the first skid and $35 for each skid thereafter. They charge a lot for delivery since they unload by hand.

The Kimmel comes in 50 lb bags in a woven sack. This is much better for your stove/furnace if you have problems with wet coal. The woven bags allow for much better drying.

Just picked up some Kimmels stove from Henry today. Cheaper in the bag from him then bulk from my ex-supplier. Henry even offered to lend me his coal chute if I needed it. Great guy. Paid $289.
