Any thoughts on suppliers in Saratoga County, New York? I'm aware of Mulhollands, but don't know if they have any competition?

Also, have any of you traveled to either PA or NJ for cheaper prices, then haul yourself? Just curious.

Any ideas/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I used to drive down to get my coal from Casey-Kassa in Laflin, Pa. This year, I bought my new stoker from Hollenbecks Feed & Coal in Catatonk, Ny so I bought three tons of bagged oil rinsed Reading rice coal from them. I'm happy with the coal, but might drive to PA for future loads of coal to save a little money. I live only 4 miles from the PA line & it takes me about 45 minutes to get to Hollenbecks & only about an hour & a half to get to Casey-Kassa. I'm also thinking about going an extra half hour further than Casey-Kassa & try Lehigh in Tamaqua, PA.

I'll second Conesus coal. Great people to deal with. They have a nice show room. They are dealer for KEYSTOKER, HITZER, LEISURE LINE. Although the address is Springwater, they are actually located 2 or 3 miles South of Hemlock (Route 15-A), on west side of road. It's an area where many small towns boarder, including Springwater, which is there official address. I believe they are called "The Coal Shop" now. Links below are all the same place, same location. http://www.qualitylawncare.biz/coal.html, http://www.qualitylawncare.biz/hitzer.html, **Broken Link(S) Removed**

I have to date bought around 30 tons of loose rice from Gale mining, burned about 1/2 of that so far
I am very happy with the Gale coal.
I have now also bought 2.5 tons of loose nut from Gale,i have not yet fired my stove that burns the nut.
Very nice folks to deal with & good prices,i paid $140/ton picked up at their facility .

NOTE: I have classified my coal as loose, not bulk as the word bulk could mean buying a bulk load of bags.
