I'm trying to compare the increase in propane prices over past 10 years vs coal prices over past 10 years. Can anyone give me an idea of the cost of anthracite over the past 10 years, or just a rough idea of the % increase?
Thanks

It's hard to make that comparison because anthracite coal doesn't fluctuate like other fossil fuels. The cost of propane today might go up a lot over the next few months while coal will have steady increases every year or every couple of years that generally follow the cost of living increasing. Other than the modest decrease in the Spring/Summer it never goes down either. Locally over the last 30 years the increase is probably slightly above the cost of living.
