Hi, I have a client on the north shore who needs to get rid of coal from his basement. They have a home built in the 1850' s with a fabulous stove that they don't use. This is new to me so I'd appreciate any info I can get and if there's someone interested in taking the coal, I'd love to hear. Please call 617 968 5150.

It's against my principles to go east of 495 unless someone else is driving, otherwise I'd take it. ;)

It's a little dead around here this time of year, but eventually you'll get a call from someone out that way.

If you post it in the 'for sale' section...
For Sale Coal Boilers, Furnaces, Stoves & Heating Related Items
List the type Nut, Pea, Stove and volume of the coal it should go...
This is anthracite coal?

I called the lady who has the coal. She describes it to me as the size of a tennis ball or baseball. That makes it stove size. She will go to the house where it is next Wednesday to take some pictures.of it. She also says that there is several cubic yards of it.

P.S. she thinks that Smitty's post of "being against my principals to go east of Rt. 495" as being very funny.

You guys just gave me a great idea! Build a trailer for the RD ..... so then I can go through Boston belching out 2-stroke smoke while pulling a load of coal! I'll need to set this up by earth day next year ..... or are there multiple earth days now? :gee:
