Scarecrow,

I'm just north of you in Douglassville. I've loaded my own coal
from the breakers for years. I get about 3 tons per load. My
coal for this year is from Superior Coal in Hegins. Years before
I alway went to Meadowbrook Coal in Lykins.
The coal is pretty much the same no matter where you decide.
If you don't mind a longer drive, pick the cheapest and go.
I always enjoy the trip to the breakers. Start early, get breakfast,
enjoy the scenery. No better way to spend a day.

Tom

TSB, what kind of vehicle do you use to haul 3 tons at a time? Thanks

I use the shop flat bed truck with a grain bin chained to it.
It runs a little top heavy, but it unloads nice.
