I recently got a quote from Penn Keystone for a full load of kimmel's rice. Here is what they had to offer.
"Right now bagged Rice is $200/ton FOB plant and trucking would be
$34/ton.
Coal is coming from several different sources, a few small deep mines
and surface mines in the southern field and from around Hazelton."

This was to 06098 zip. I don't think it would change too much to your location. I think you are about 100 miles from me.

Mike,
That's not a bad deal. I have a couple more quotes coming in. I might just end up with Kimmels again but I was hoping to get away from those woven bags. That would be the only snag for me but I could live it for the right price.
Thanks,
Steve

Mike, did Penn Keystone give you a Zip on where the coal can be picked up? I might be able to get a better price on the trucking for you, Let me know.

Hi Guys
I just got a quote from Penn keystone last week for 200 a ton of rice and it was 48 a ton for delivery. I live down in southereastern mass near the cape cod. If anyone is willing to split a truck load I'd be willing to do that. if not I just got a price from my local dealer for 280 for 1.25 ton pallets. I think he's getting his coal from Penn Keystone. I'll pick up anywhere in mass.

Barry,
I'm already splitting this load with someone. We are going with Kimmel in SOLID plastic bags. I gave up on Blaschak because the best price I got was $345 for 23 ton. Thats too rich for my blood. If all you are looking for is 3 ton you might try buying reading coal in Medway Mass. If you picked it up it might be cheaper. Good luck!
Thanks anyways,
Steve

Hi,

Just saw your post after months of not being online!

I know it is too late for this season, but for future info I would be willing to go in on a trailer. In fact, I should have my CDL-A before winter ( in class right now) this year and will be seeking to purchase a used tractor to do the hauling myself right from the breaker.

I live in New Hampshire just outside of Manchester.

I'd be willing to go in on 5 ton of bagged Nut. Actually I'd like to get a couple of ton of Pea as well.

They want $ 430 for 2.4 ton Pallet of Blazcek here.

I'm picking up 3 tons from a dealer in southern Maine,

They only sell bagged coal by the pallet. $295/ton (cash or check), 1.2 tons/pallet=$354.00.

Southern Maine Renewable Fuels.

They have 2 locations, Wells and Westford and also will deliver.

Eric
