Squier Lumber and Hardware in Monson have Blaschak coal listed at $269.00 a ton, which for Mass seems pretty good. You see the price on their pre-season list on the left which is $10 more then what is on their web page, says it was updated on 3-07-10.

I'm pretty sure Blashack lowered thier bulk prices to thier dealers this year by at least $10.00 a ton--I know that geography is a realistic issue--point--Blaschak is doing thier part in helping on an economic level---I don't think I'm off base with these numbers, but if I am--I torry,I will enter fibbers rehab & all will be forgiven

This year I plan on putting my 6 ton coal bin on my equipment trailer and driving to one of the breakers in PA. Any recommendations on who has the best price / quality nut anthracite. Also is there a better time of year to buy like spring or summer.

Thanks

Just picked up two skids of Blaschak rice bagged for $300.00 per skid. The man said that he will be getting bulk rice in sometime soon if he gets his bin finished, he has bulk stove(I believe) now. For those that buy off of Junior Delagrange he has quite a few skids yet if you want to buy early.

I'm assuming thats 1.2 ton per skid. Otherwise that seems pretty expensive for PA.

Yep, 1.2 ton on a skid, seems to be the going price around N.W. Pa., its in the same state but may be about the same distance as some of the upper states.

Patriot wrote:I live in NH but have to cross over the boarder into Lebanon ME to get my coal. It is $290 a ton bulk, picked-up.
There is a guy in Barrington that sells it for that price bagged.
He can also deliver for a modest surcharge.
