Well...I just got two prices from the same place.

$265 on initial delivery. I guess they plan on getting lost as second delivery and everyone after that is $245. But if I pick the coal up it is $225.

I ordered from Wilson Coal in Sparta NJ and they quoted me the same prices but the $265 was for one ton only, the $245 was for all add'l tons on same truck, same delivery. If you get two ton, like me, the total was $510.00 Their pick up price,$225, is the same I was quoted.

Got an advertisement from a local coal dealer. He is offering 1.2 ton skids of Blaschak rice coal for $300 plus delivery. He'll cut you a break if he has more than one delivery to your area that day. Think it was about $70 for four skids last year.

JLF53 wrote:Just ordered rice coal for $240 per ton of South Temaqua from Walter Hendricks in Hilltown PA delivered to Flemington NJ for $20. His delivery fee is $20 regardless of how much or how little you order. His truck can hold 7 tons so if you need more than 4 tons he can do it in one shot.

The price around here hasn't changed from last year. I just bought 5 pallets of Kimmels rice (6.25 tons) at $265 per ton. Blaschak is also the same as last year at $280 per ton. Pretty good considering how far I live from coal country. :D
