Ooops. I pushed the wrong button on the list.
I entered $300-330, picked up, not realizing there was one for bagged. I don't want this pole to be as inaccurate as one of them there political poles. :?

Never mind my reply above. It was before my afternoon cup-of-joe.

I’ll always take my slips itemized. Then I at least have the right to protest the price of the fee.

I was meaning I want any scale fee listed on the weight slip. At our landfill there’s a weight slip and a dumping fee, and sometimes additional fees for other things like brush, tires, etc. The amounts aren’t high, but they are listed, as they should be. Keeps people honest.

You guys are talking about a weight slip and scale fee for a load of coal and I’m thinking trucking on a much more diverse scale...pun intended. Lol!

Tractor Supply still has nut and rice on sale for $5.00 per bag if you buy 2 bags or more; however, in our area you have to purchase on-line and pick-up at the store to get that price. Clerk said the sale would probably last only a few more days.

Just got 12 tons of rice from Rossi coal in beaver meadows delivered to Berwick in a high lift for 185 per ton. I haven’t burned any coal yet, but is there a difference between Luzerne county and the coal further south? I see most people get coal from further south.

My father in law burns Rossi coal. It burns great but does generate a lot of fluffy ash. On the plus side, his ash buckets are very light compared to my ash from using Lehigh...

Never heard of them. Are they a "new" supplier? Is their coal "new", used, or old? ;)

The mine has been there for decades (maybe centuries) but I don't know how long Rossi has been there. You can see their operation using Google maps just Northwest of Beaver Meadows, Pa. They have their own breaker.

There is a Facebook page if you want to see pictures.

The coal looks really nice. Very clean. Consistent size, no chunks of wood. The owner (Lenny Rossi) rose out with the delivery driver, and introduced himself. Couldn’t ask for a nicer guy to talk to. Gave me the weight tickets. Couldn’t ask for a nicer outfit to deal with. (I was told they have ash content testing done because some of their large contracts require it).
